The town witnessed heavy rain today and water entered 12 houses at Bala Behad in ward number 10 here, damaging goods.

Residents were sleeping when rainwater and mud started entering their houses. They said clothes, bedding and other items had been spoiled.

They also informed the Kullu Municipal Council authorities. Although there was no loss of life, more than 2 feet of water and mud entered their houses. The residents urged the administration to get the debris cleared and compensate them for their losses.
