An ex-servicemen reach-out programme was organised by DAH Eagles of DAH Division here today. The main aim of the rally was to boost the morale of the veterans and understand difficulties being faced by them.

Over 400 ex-servicemen and a large number of military and civil dignitaries participated in the rally. Its focus was to resolve various problems being faced by ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and war disabled veterans. The event was held in close coordination with the Zila Sainik Board and the civil administration.

A separate stall for the Canteen Stores Department Smart Card, Army Welfare Education Society, Ex-Servicemen Contribution Health Scheme (ECHS) and the Veteran Sahayata Kendra was set at the venue. — OC
