The Kullu police raided a rave party and arrested the organizers at Chhalal village near Kasol.

Kullu SP Gaurav Singh said that police patrol heard a loud music near a café at about 1.15 am and found that about 150 persons, mostly tourists and foreigners, were dancing. They fled upon spotting the police.

The SP said that Rishabh Bhadaula (25) of Rishikesh in Uttarakhand was arrested for operating the DJ without permission by putting up a stage. Dinesh Kumar (33) of Jari and Ankur Parik (34) of Agra were arrested for organizing the party and amassing a gathering of about 150 persons defying the orders issued during the Covid pandemic.

The SP said the DJ material was also seized. He added that a case had been registered under section 6 of HP Instrument Act, sections 188 and 269 of IPC and section 51 of the NDM Act.— OC
