Rs 18 lakh looted from two ATMs
Solan, August 9
An amount of about Rs 18 lakh was looted from two ATMs of the SBI at Bagvania village on the Baddi- Nalagarh highway by unidentified miscreants in the wee hours this morning.
The two machines were installed in one cabin and the miscreants decamped with the entire loot with ease.
As per the close circuit camera (CCTV) details shared by the police, five masked youth came in a Maruti car around 3:10 am. They were equipped with gas cutters. While one kept sitting in the car, another smeared black paint over the CCTV installed inside the cabin. Others broke open the ATMs to loot the cash. — TNS
