State BJP president Rajeev Bindal today asked Chief Minister Sukhvinder to sack Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani for his remarks against government employees.

Bindal, in a statement issued here, said the minister had openly declared that “if a person wants to work as an employee, he will have to stand with the Congress government”. He alleged, “His statement clearly reflects that the government has not only challenged the employees but also threatened them.”

He said that the Chief Minister should make it clear whether he supported Dharmani’s remarks or not. “If the Chief Minister does not agree with the views of his ministerial colleague, he should dismiss him from the Cabinet,” he added.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
