The Rotary Club organised a Covid-19 awareness camp at Vidya Bhupinder Rotary Women and Child Care Hospital at Thakurdwara here today. Hundred face masks and sanitisers were given free of cost to expectant mothers.

The club also honoured the pardhan of Khalet panchayat, Hemlata Thakur, who had played an important role in checking the Covid spread in her area.

Dr Poonam Salotra, hospital in-charge and gynaecologist, and her team were given a citation for their selfless services during the crisis. — OC
