The body of a student was found lying in a drain between Sanjauli and Lakkar Bazaar and it is yet be ascertained that he fell from a hillock or was murdered.

The deceased was identified as Vishal, a resident of Kinnaur, who was studying in BA first year in Government College, Sanjauli. He was a hosteller but for the past few days, he was staying with his friend in Sanjauli.

A friend of the deceased had informed the police on Tuesday night that his friend had gone missing while on his way back home following which the police started the search operation and the body was found this morning. The police said the cause of the death would be confirmed after the postmortem report.
