The camp, being held in Bengaluru from August 22 to September 25, is part of India’s preparations for the upcoming Asian Futsal Championship, one of the continent’s premier tournaments.
Sayam’s selection is a proud milestone not only for Triumph Football Club but for the entire football fraternity of Himachal Pradesh. His outstanding performance in the Futsal National Club Championship-2025 impressed national selectors, as he netted three goals and provided five assists, displaying attacking flair, sharp footwork and excellent court vision. These consistent contributions were instrumental in his team’s performance and paved his way into the national camp.
An experienced athlete, Sayam has earlier represented Himachal Pradesh in major football tournaments, including the 2017 Oorja Cup, 2018 BC Roy Trophy and the 2022 Santosh Trophy, making him one of the most accomplished players to emerge from the state.
Reacting to the achievement, Dr Rishabh Sharma, Founder of Triumph Football Club, said, “His discipline, commitment and relentless hard work have brought him this far. This is not just his personal success but also an inspiration for thousands of aspiring players across Himachal.”

Head Coach Dharampal Singh also lauded Sayam, noting his strong work ethic and technical sharpness. “He has always been a focused and dedicated player. His selection is a proud moment for our entire team. I am confident he will shine at both national and Asian levels,” he said.
