The incident took place on Saturday when she was boarding a bus at Bhattakufar. At that time, a portion of the road sunk, creating a pit about 15 feet deep and around seven feet wide. As a result, the girl fell into the pit and the tyre of the bus also got stuck in the pit.
She was then safely rescued by the people who used a rope to pull her out from inside the pit. Locals have stated that the bus could have fallen into the pit had it moved forward.
