Schoolteachers honoured with Academic Excellence Award

Two teachers of PM Shri Government Excellence Senior Secondary School, Badaran, were honoured with the Academic Excellence Award by GNA Unversity yesterday. Hardeep Thakur, principal of the school, said that two teachers — Praveen and Anjani — were accorded the award for their contributions to academics.

The honour also symbolised culture, discipline, innovation and commitment of the school administration to the holistic development of students. He described the achievement of both teachers as an ideal example in the field of education.

Praveen expressed gratitude to GNA University and thanked her colleagues Sameer, Sansar, Deputy Director Education Mohi Ram and other officers in the Education Department for their constant support and encouragement.

The Principal said that the award would encourage other teachers as well and also motivate the students of the school towards academics, cultural activities and sports.
