The Department of Art, Culture and Language would organise a seminar on December 3 to mark the birth anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Yashpal Sharma at the Government College here. Manjeet Sharma, Joint Director of the Department, said the highlight of the event would be a research paper of Prof Chaman Lal of Jawaharlal Nehru University titled as ‘Krantikari Sahityakar Yashpal Sharma Ke Jeevan Me Kranti Or Sahitya Ka Samanjasya’. He said a skit based on the works of Yashpal Sharma would also be staged by Rupi Seraj Kala Manch. He added that over 50 stories written by Yashpal Sharma were published in more than 10 Indian and international languages.
