During the protest, SFI secretary Sunny Seakta said it has been almost a month since the students have been attending the classes, but the university administration has not been able to allot hostels to the students so far.

The SFI also demanded the university administration to abolish the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

“The hostels are not being allotted due to the faulty ERP system,” he added. Through this protest, the SFI has given a two-day ultimatum to the Chief Warden and has warned of launching a mass movement if hostels are not allotted within two days.
