Shahpur MLA urges students to excel in education, sports

He urged them to focus on education, culture and discipline, emphasising investing in their growth is essential for building a strong nation.
While attending the Children’s Day function at DAV Public School, Goju, on Friday, Pathania urged children to excel in academics and sports and assured full support for upgrading school facilities.
The event began with a floral tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary. Pathania noted Nehru considered children the cornerstone of nation-building and stressed investing in their education and safety ensures a stronger India.
He informed attendees the power transformer within the school premises had been shifted to a safer location, paving the way for the school’s proposed new building. Pathania also announced the installation of a new hand pump at Durgela and donated Rs 11,000 from his discretionary fund to the school.
The MLA felicitated meritorious students and inaugurated a sports meet on the occasion.
