Anmol Chaudhary, a 6th-semester BTech student from the HIET Group of Institutions, Shahpur, brought pride to the college by securing first place in the cosplay competition at the prestigious annual fest organised by IIT-Mandi. For his outstanding performance, Anmol was awarded a cash prize of Rs 60,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to Singapore, sponsored by IIT-Mandi.

The HIET was the only college from the state to participate in the event, with all other contenders representing major universities across India. In recognition of Anmol’s remarkable achievement, the HIET management has waived his tuition fees for one semester as a token of appreciation.

Adding to the college’s success, Simran, a 10th-semester BA LLB student won second prize in canvas painting, earning a silver medal and certificate for her artistic excellence.
