BJP Hamirpur candidate Ashish Sharma could not justify his resignation: Pushpinder Verma

The Congress candidate, Pushpinder Verma, from the Hamirpur constituency today said that the BJP candidate, Ashish Sharma, could not explain the reason for his resignation from the Vidhan Sabha to the voters of the constituency.

Verma said people asked for the reason to resign and re-contesting for the same post, but the BJP candidate could not justify his actions. He said Ashish Sharma only misled people by saying that he was ignored by the Chief Minister.

“The BJP candidate secured works for his brother’s company, but he did nothing for the welfare of people and development of the constituency. Instead of developing the area, the BJP candidate remained busy in his own development, said Verma.

He alleged that Ashish Sharma was trying to win this election by hook or crook as his workers were held with liquor cartons by the police.

He added that people of the constituency had seen the real face of the BJP candidate and had decided to vote for a stable government and an honest candidate.
