In view of the upcoming celebration marking three years of the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led state government, the Shimla Deputy Commissioner, Anupam Kashyap, on Thursday directed officials of various government departments to prepare a list of beneficiaries of the state’s welfare schemes.

He issued the directive during a meeting held to review preparations for the government’s upcoming programme. The DC said beneficiaries of various welfare schemes from the district would take part in the state-level event being organised in Mandi.

He added HRTC buses would be arranged to transport beneficiaries to and from the venue. Kashyap instructed officials to contact all beneficiaries of the state government’s welfare schemes and make proper arrangements for their participation in the programme.

He said all SDMs in the district would hold detailed meetings on Friday at their respective levels to prepare the outline for managing the beneficiaries.
