The SDMA approved the third proposal worth Rs 19.81 for the restoration of the areas from Ramchandra Chowk to Housing Board Colony, Jakhu, and Hainault Public School. The area has seen multiple landslides this monsoon, which has put several residential buildings under threat.

The Deputy Commissioner issued directions that video and photographic reports be attached with the proposals, and the restoration work be carried out in a scientific way to mitigate disasters.
