Shivpal elected Kardar Sangh president

Shivpal Sharma was unanimously elected president of Kardar Sangh at the general house here today. Around 250 persons, who were present at the meeting, supported Sharma. This is the 10th successive election of Shivpal as president of the Kardar Sangh, Mandi. Shivpal has been working hard to preserve the deity culture.
Kardar Sangh plays key role in the week-long Shivratri fair, when a large number of deities arrive here to participate in the event.
Shivpal said that his focus would be to preserve the deity culture and carry forward its legacy. Working committee of Kardar Sangh will be expanded soon, he said.
