Shoolini University Pro-Chancellor Vishal Anand signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Bin Abdul Mutalib, Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Malaysia’s Institute of Technology Petronas.

Prof Ir Ts Dr Nor Hisham B Hamid, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs); M Thavasegaran, director (Corporate Strategic Planning); and Aminur Rashid, head (Career Services Department), played key roles in formalising the partnership.

Under the MoU, both universities would conduct a wide range of exchange programmes for faculty, scholars, students, academic information and material. The initiative is designed to enrich research and education at both institutions. The MoU facilitates various collaborative activities for the academic and educational needs of both universities, including the exchange of faculty and scholars, students, collaboration on university ranking activities, the organisation of joint research programmes, and the hosting of conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Anand said that this would mark the beginning of an innovative journey towards advancing research and knowledge exchange.
