A ‘Bal Mela’ event, which included schools of Ghaniara and Dharamshala clusters, was organised recently at Government School, Dharamshala.

Saksham, Manvi, Khushi, Sonakshi, Manisha, Manvi, Simar Kaur and Devanshi, students of Government High School, Sidhbari, excelled in the folk dance and chess competitions, securing first places in both contests.

Principal Dr Janmejaya congratulated the winning students and the teachers.

He said the participants and the mentor teachers worked very hard to make the institution proud.

Teachers Kanwar Ravindra and Pavana Devi played a special role in training the children. Former Mayor (Dharamsala Municipal Corporation) Devendra Jaggi distributed prizes to the winning teams as the chief guest at the event.
