Sirmaur educationist’s passion recognised with Bharat Samaan

The award ceremony, held in New Delhi, recognised his contributions in the fields of leadership education and skill development. The award was presented by Lok Sabha MP Ravindra Narayan Behera and Arunachal Pradesh’s Commerce and Industry Minister Nyato Dukam.
Sharma, who resides near DIET Nahan, has been associated with leadership education and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) for more than 25 years. His work has spanned India as well as the United States, the UAE and Nigeria, focusing on skill-based education and training young people in leadership development. He is linked with the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which conducts programmes across different states in India.
After receiving the award, Sharma stated that his efforts remain directed towards providing youth with practical skills and leadership training aimed at improving employability. He added that his organisation continues to work in this field both in India and abroad.
The Arunachal Government also presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution to education and social development. The certificate was handed over by Tege Taki, Chairman of the Arunachal State Council for Science and Technology. The recognition also highlights Sirmaur’s contribution in the field of education and leadership training.
