Budgetary allocation: Rs 1,024 crore

Major schemes

* Rs20 crore for creation of ‘krishi kosh’ for seed money, interest subvention and credit guarantee cover

* One lakh farmers to be covered under Subhash Palekar natural farming system

* Possibility of giving fallow land to bonafide Himachali for farming to be studied

Budgetary allocation: Rs 8,016 crore

Major schemes:

* Rs15 crore to be spent on providing modern facilities in 100 cluster schools

* 100 top students to be provided Rs 1 lakh for preparation of entrance exams

* Government approves filling of 10,700 posts in educational institutions

Health

Budgetary allocation: Rs 2,702 crore

Major schemes:

*Mammography facility in all district hospitals

* Rs 100 crore for providing free medicines

* Free ayurvedic medicines for aged 60 years and above

Roads

Budgetary allocation: Rs 3,986 crore

Major schemes:

* Wayside amenities policy for commuters along state and national highways

* Rs 44 crore to be spent on erection of crash barriers and widening of roads in accident-prone areas.

* Construction of 925-km motorable roads, cross drainage, metalising and tarring of 1,800-km roads, construction of 75 bridges and providing connectivity to 90 villages.

Home/Law and order

Budgetary allocation: Rs 1,729 crore

Major schemes

*1,000 posts of constable to be filled

* Vigilance police station to be set up at Baddi to check corruption

* 10 dedicated mining check-posts to be set up to check illegal mining

* A total of 176 vehicles will be equipped with mounted cameras. Nearly 500 body worn cameras to be purchased

Budgetary allocation: Rs 1,013 crore

Major schemes:

* Expansion of airports at Gaggal in Kagra and Jubbarhatti in Shimla

* Construction of a new airport under the Green Field project in Mandi

Five new heliports for helli taxi service and Chamba to be included under Udaan –II.
