Unknown miscreants have decamped with six 12-bore Single Barrel Breech Loading (SBBL) guns from a gun shop at Dhalpur here on Saturday night.

According to the police, Kaushal Kapoor, proprietor of Kullu Bandook Ghar, lodged a complaint stating that on Saturday night he locked the shop and went home. The next day, the locks were broken and six guns were also found missing. Following the complaint, the police have registered a case.

On the other hand, after the theft of guns from the shop, there is a suspicion that the burglars might commit some crime by stealing the guns. There is a lot of hearsay among the people about this incident as the shop is located in the district headquarters. Kullu SP Karthikeyan Gokulachandran said the thieves will be behind the bars soon.
