Highlighting the significance of the language, Sharma said, “Language is the simplest medium of expression. In a diverse country like India, Hindi serves as a unifying force, connecting different cultures, communities and traditions. Hindi is not just a language — it is the soul of our culture and civilisation. It is the third most spoken language in the world and it is a matter of pride that Hindi is gaining recognition globally.”

The Pakhwada will continue till September 28 at SJVN’s headquarters and project offices. Various competitions including dictation, poetry recitation and calligraphy will be organised to promote the use of Hindi and foster a spirit of healthy competition among employees.

Executive Director (Civil) Chandrashekhar Yadav, along with senior officers from different departments and divisions of the corporate headquarters, were also present on the occasion.
