The Assistant Engineer of Electricity Sub-Division Nahan No. 1 has issued an advisory urging domestic and hotel consumers under its jurisdiction to complete their e-KYC process by December 31. Consumers are requested to cooperate with departmental bill distributors to ensure timely completion of the process. The official stated that the installation of smart meters has commenced in Nahan city, with survey and meter installation activities already underway. Completing the e-KYC process is essential for seamless integration of smart meters into the city's electricity infrastructure. Consumers who are yet to complete their e-KYC can visit the Electricity Sub-Division Office at Ranital with a copy of their Aadhaar card and the latest electricity bill to get the process completed. The department has appealed to all consumers for their cooperation in ensuring the success of this initiative aimed at improving electricity management and services in the city.
