Col Sanjay (retd) is aspiring to contest the next Vidhan Sabha poll as his father has declared him his political heir. He has been active in the field after his superannuation a few months ago. However, he is yet to take the primary membership of the Congress. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh had also attended his retirement function. The reason behind the provocation to air candid views is not yet known.
