Pinegrove School triumphed as champions of the 4th Invitational Cricket Tournament for U-13 (Boys), in a thrilling final match played against Mayo College, Ajmer, last evening, winning by 8 wickets.

Five schools from across India — Bishop Cotton School, Shimla; Mayo College, Ajmer; The Punjab Public School, Nabha; Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun; and the host school, Pinegrove School, Solan — came together for a thrilling series of league matches at Dharampur.

The exciting tournament kept everyone present in the floodlit ‘arena’ of the school, on the edge of their seats, till the very end on the final day.

Winning the Player of the Match title in two matches that included scoring one century, Disher Pratap Singh was declared the Player of the Tournament. Satyajeet Singh Mann was the Best Wicket Keeper and Abhay Saini bagged the Best Upcoming Player title.

Assistant Commissioner and Dharampur Block Development Officer Praveen Bhardwaj was the chief guest at the closing and prize distribution ceremony.
