Pinegrove School, Dharampur, hosted a transformative two-day ‘Iliad Athletics Foundation – Skill Programme’ for students of Classes IX to XII on July 21 and 22 at the Wg Cdr SS Gyani Memorial Sports Centre.

Originating in the United States, the Iliad Athletics Foundation is an experiential platform that forges character through physical challenges, classical training methods and reflective practice. The intensive programme at Pinegrove was led by Gregory Gerard Whalen, who guided students through a series of physically demanding and mentally stimulating tasks.

The enthusiastic Grovians embraced challenges such as land navigation using a compass and pace count, log carries, object drags, burpees and buddy carries, along with dynamic leadership discussions and complex problem-solving scenarios.
