The Congress legislators have pointed out that when the Speaker had not even taken a decision whether Sudhir’s request for Privilege Motion be sent to the Privileges Committee of the Vidhan Sabha or not, Sharma made the information public through his social media handles. “This act is a violation of procedural decorum of the house and constitutional status of the Speaker and as such the matter be referred to the Privileges Committee of the Vidhan Sabha,” they urged in their letter addressed to the Speaker.
