Dr Jain emphasised that the aim of these camps is to increase awareness about family planning and provide easy access to reproductive healthcare services for residents of the district. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve maternal and child health, reduce unplanned pregnancies, and enhance overall public health services.

The camps will be held at various civil hospitals in the district, starting with Civil Hospital, Sarahan, on March 4, followed by Civil Hospital, Shillai, on March 11, Civil Hospital, Rajgarh, on March 17, and Civil Hospital, Dadahu, on March 22.

Civil Hospital, Paonta Sahib, will host the camps on March 6, 13, 20, and 27. Dr Jain further stated that family planning is crucial for ensuring the well-being of both parents and children. These camps will not only offer medical services but will also educate people about the significance of family planning and reproductive health.

Expert medical professionals and trained healthcare staff will be available at each camp to assist and provide counselling. The district health department has encouraged eligible couples and individuals to take advantage of these free services to contribute to a healthier community.
