The sports ground of DAV Centenary Public School at Jawahar Nagar in Mandi came alive with an electrifying atmosphere of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm as the cluster-level DAV sports tournament kicked off with great fervour on Sunday. The grand inauguration marked the beginning of several days of competitive spirit, teamwork and outstanding athletic performances among DAV schools of Himachal Pradesh Zone-C.

The opening day featured thrilling volleyball and football matches, which captivated the spectators and filled the air with applause and cheers.

The occasion was graced by the presence of dignitaries. Chandreshwar, principal of DAV-Gohar, and Chandrika Malhotra, principal of DAV-Katerain, attended the event as supervisors. Their encouraging presence added immense value and grace to the ceremony.

KS Guleria, the Assistant Regional Officer of Himachal Pradesh Zone-C, was the chief guest. In his address, he praised the discipline, sportsmanship and determination displayed by the young athletes. He extended his best wishes to all the players for a bright and successful future.

The sportsmanship, discipline and team spirit displayed throughout the matches were commendable and indicative of the strong values upheld by the DAV institutions.

Assistant Regional Officer KS Guleria congratulated the winning teams and participants, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in both sports and academics. The tournament is poised to be a significant platform for nurturing young sports talent across the region.
