In a thrilling finale, St Edward’s School emerged victorious in football, while Roots Country School, Baghi, claimed the basketball title in the Inter-School Sports Tournaments 2025 hosted that concluded here today.

Six prominent schools, including hosts St Edward’s School, participated in the tournament.

The event featured the Bishop Gilbert Rego Football, Brother Steinmeyer Basketball and Brother Walsh Table Tennis tournaments, bringing together six schools in spirited competition. The tournaments were inaugurated by school principal Rev Fr Anil Sequeira. The Brother Walsh Table Tennis Tournament was a new addition to the series.
