St Luke’s Solan emerges as ‘Best Delegation’ at EDMUN

The school was conferred with the prestigious Best Delegation award, presented as the General Bipin Rawat Memorial Trophy, sponsored by the Batch of 1968 in honour of St Edward’s alumnus and former Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, during the two-day Literature Festival organised by St Edward’s School.
EDMUN featured delegates who engaged in a spirited debate on pressing global issues, working towards meaningful resolutions, while imbibing the Edwardian tradition of camaraderie and academic rigour. EDMUN featured five committees — UNHRC, APC, UNEP, UNICEF and the International Press.
Students from 11 reputed schools came together to participate in the annual Literature Festival ‘Imagine- Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges’ of the St Edwards School, one of the premier schools of the state, combining creativity, critical thinking and diplomacy under one banner. The inaugural ceremony was held on Friday, that was followed by a panel discussion with distinguished resource persons.
