Himachal Pradesh State Elite Boxing championship will be held at Paras Public School, Bhawarna, in Kangra from December 12-14. As many as 140 boxers, including Tokyo Olympian Ashish Chaudhary and World Cup Silver medallist Ashish Jamwal, will take part in the event.

The championship will be inaugurated by Gopal Nag, Mayor of Palampur Municipal Corporation. Vipin Singh Parmar, MLA from the Sullah Assembly constituency, will be the chief guest on the final day on December 14.

The selection committee will select the state boxing team to participate in the National boxing championship from the event.
