Himachal Pradesh is set to receive more rainfall till May 30. The state’s Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rainfall for several districts for the next four days. It has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in isolated places of Shimla, Solan, Kullu, Mandi Kangra, Sirmaur and Chamba districts on May 25 and 26. Besides, an alert for rain and thunderstorms has been for all 12 districts.

The maximum temperatures in some parts of the state are also very likely to drop by 3°C to 4°C in the next three to four days. Meanwhile, light rain was observed in isolated areas of the state during the past 24 hours. No large changes in minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded during this period.

Shimla recorded a maximum temperature of 25.6°C, Dharamsala (31°C), Manali (28.2°C), Dalhousie (21°C) and Kasauli (25.4°C), Solan (30°C), Mandi (34.4°C), Kangra (35.7°C), Bhuntar (36°C), Sundernagar (35.4°C), Nahan (34.4°C), Bilaspur (35.8°C), Hamirpur (37.3°C), (Kufri 20.4°C), Narkanda (20.5°C), Reckong Peo (28.8°C).
