Venues, dates of 4 inter-college championships updated

The Himachal Pradesh University through an order issued here today announced that it had changed the dates of four inter-college sports championships, including football (men), hockey (men), kho-kho (men) and handball (men and women), along with updating the venue for the kho-kho tournament.

As per the new schedule, the kho-kho (men) event that was earlier scheduled to take place from November 5 to 7 at Government College, Hamirpur, will now take place from November 14 to 16 at Government College Anni in Kullu.

Similarly, football (men) championship that was earlier scheduled to take place from November 20 to 23 will now take place from November 26 to 29 at Government College, Dhaliara in Kangra district. Handball (men and women) championship that was earlier scheduled to take place from November 27 to 29 will now take place from November 30 till December 2 at MLSM College, Sundernagar, Mandi. Additionally, the dates for the upcoming hockey men’s championship that was scheduled to take place from November 7 to 9 have been postponed and the new dates for the same are expected to be issued soon. The championship will be played at Government College, Chamba.
