Youth Development and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma laid the foundation stone for the Panchayat Bhawan in Harsi, Jaisinghpur, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh. During the ceremony, he highlighted the government’s commitment to improving health services, road infrastructure, education, and access to clean drinking water in the region.

Goma announced that a new bus stand, depot and workshop will be built in Harsi, with an initial Rs 2 crore allocated for the project. The upcoming bus depot will be named Harsi Jaisinghpur and Deputy Chief Minister’s visit is anticipated for the foundation-laying ceremony. Additionally, Rs 10 lakh has been allocated for constructing the Harsi Veterinary Hospital.

He also shared plans to launch new Volvo bus routes between Jaisinghpur and Delhi and expand bus services to nearby areas. To further support local sports, solar lights will be installed at Harsi Ground, and a basketball sports hostel will be opened at Odra Mela Ground. For improved road safety, Rs 84 lakh has been sanctioned to reconstruct the damaged culvert on Harsi Main Road.

Under the “Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar” initiative, more than 100 local issues were addressed on the spot. Goma assured residents that their feedback will inform upcoming budget plans, and he emphasised that the quick resolution of public grievances remains a top priority for the state government. The programme aims to resolve public concerns in a timely manner and is part of the government’s efforts to enhance local infrastructure and services in a phased approach.
