The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE), Dharamshala, here today said the examinations of students, who are stuck in areas away from their native place for any reason, will be conducted at the nearest examination centres.

Dr. (Major) Vishal Sharma, Secretary, HPBoSE, in a press release, said it has come to the notice that there are many students who belong to tribal areas and have not been able to return to their native places due to various reasons.

“It has been decided that such candidates can contact the board about the place where they are stuck so that arrangements for their examination will be made at the nearest examination centre,” he said.

“If the center coordinator, superintendent and deputy superintendent get to know about such candidates, they can grant permission to them to appear for the examination by contacting the board,” he added.

Meanwhile, MLA from Bharmour Janak Raj said he has talked to the Secretary, HPBoSE, and made arrangements for setting up examination centres for students of Pangi valley, who have not reached home and are stuck in Dharamshala, Chamba, Kullu and any other place. — TNS
