A cleanliness drive was organised by teachers and students of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya here today. Principal Sunil Chauhan flagged off this cleanliness programme. They conducted the drive on the school premises and its surrounding areas. The students cleared the waste littered on the roadside and cleaned the rain shelter at Nadiana Sadiana village.

Anil Kumar, teacher at the school, said the purpose of the drive was to educate students about the importance of cleanliness and the impact of plastic pollution. He said it was unfortunate that despite many cleanliness drives and awareness programmes, people were still throwing plastic bags and other non-degradable material on roadsides.

Chauhan said this campaign would make students aware of cleanliness and help keep society healthy and people disease-free.
