Sainik School Sujanpur Tira (SSST) continued its impressive performance on the second day of the All India Sainik Schools Hockey Tournament–2025 (Group A), defeating Sainik School Nagrota 4-1 in the U-15 boys’ category. SSST also secured a 1-0 win over Nagrota in the U-17 boys’ category.

In another U-15 boys’ match, Sainik School Kapurthala edged past Sainik School Kunjpura with a 1-0 victory. The U-17 girls’ match between Sujanpur Tira and Nagrota ended in a goalless draw.

Group Captain Rachna Joshi, Principal of SSST, stated that Sujanpur Tira had earlier defeated Kunjpura 3-0 in the U-15 boys’ match, while Nagrota and Kapurthala drew their game. In the U-17 girls’ category, Kapurthala had defeated Sujanpur Tira 1-0.

The tournament features five Sainik Schools—Nagrota (J&K), Kapurthala (Punjab), Kunjpura (Haryana), Woods Park (HP) and host Sujanpur Tira (HP).
