Verma said the core objective of the campaign was to educate citizens about the processes related to voter registration, including adding new names to the electoral roll, deletion of outdated entries, and corrections in existing information. Additionally, various outreach activities will be undertaken to underline the importance of voting and active participation in the democratic process.

As part of the SVEEP campaign, special focus will be given to the promotion of the ‘Voter Helpline’ mobile application and the ‘Know Your Booth Level Officer (BLO) programme. These initiatives will be rolled out in a phased manner across different administrative levels to ensure comprehensive coverage.

At the first level, Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs) established in higher educational and training institutions, as well as senior secondary schools across the district, will organize at least two voter awareness activities every month.
