A special cleanliness campaign was held in Dummi Panchayat to raise awareness among locals about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean.

The programme was organised through the joint efforts of Up Pradhan Gaurav, the Waste Warriors team and the Ayurvedic Department.

During the campaign, villagers were educated on maintaining cleanliness, segregating wet and dry waste and reducing the use of plastic. The Ayurvedic Department also highlighted how a clean environment directly contributes to better health.

Speaking on the occasion, Up Pradhan Gaurav emphasised that cleanliness is not just the government’s responsibility but the duty of every citizen to keep their surroundings clean. Meanwhile, the Waste Warriors team demonstrated scientific methods of waste management.

Local residents actively participated in the drive and pledged to keep the village and its surroundings clean and waste-free.
