Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Pratibha Singh has urged party workers to participate in large numbers in the ‘Jai Hind Sabha’ to be held in Shimla on May 30. The event is being organised by the party to honour the country’s brave soldiers as per the guidelines of the All India Congress Committee. The president has asked all party leaders, former office bearers and workers of various departments to participate in the event.

All India Congress Committee secretary Vidit Chaudhary emphasised that the Congress was completely united and strong in the state. He announced that HPCC, district, and block executive will be declared soon in the state with key responsibilities given to dedicated party workers.

Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh stressed that the organisation was paramount in any government and everyone should follow its guidelines. The ‘Jai Hind Sabha’ will take place on May 30 in Shimla with senior leaders, including AICC party in-charge Rajni Patil, former Union Minister Ajay Maken, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, state ministers, MLAs and party workers are likely to attend the sabha.
