Teacher found drunk in Rohru school, suspended

The Directorate of School Education has suspended a JBT teacher, posted at government primary School, Khorsu, in the Rohru sub-division of Shimla district for coming to school in an inebriated condition. During the suspension, the teacher, Hittu Machhan, will serve at Block Elementary Education, Kupvi.

The teacher was suspended after SDM Rohru visited the school following complaints from local people about the teacher and found him in an intoxicated condition in the school.

The teacher was brought to Civil hospital, Rohru, for medical check-up and his blood sample was sent to forensic lab in Junga. The SDM also found that several students had shifted to other schools due to the teacher.
