Vocational teachers resorted to boot polishing and cleaning vehicles during their protest in Shimla on Wednesday. The protesting teachers have been protesting in Shimla over the past couple of days demanding the removal of companies that act as a bridge between the teachers and the Education department. “We have resorted to shoe polishing and car cleaning to attract the attention of the government. We are protesting for the last three days but the government has not even called us for a dialogue,” said Ashwani, president of the Vocational Teachers Association.
