Teachers should recognise the potential of students and try to enhance their skills. This was stated by Rajesh Dharmani, Technical Education Minister while addressing students on the closing of Group-1 Youth Festival of HP University at Government Degree College, Bilaspur, today.

Dharmani said that youth festivals instill confidence among students and inspire them towards creativity. He said that by participating in such programmes, every student could enhance his skills. He said that many students could not showcase their talent due to the lack of guidance and platform.

The minister said that students should work hard and make the best use of the latest technology. He added that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi had introduced computer in the country “which have now become indispensable”.

He said Hamirpur district was advancing on the path of development and the government was developing tourism and water sports that would change its outlook of the district.
