The written screening test for the post of Students Activity and Sports Assistant (SAS) has been postponed due to administrative reasons. Originally scheduled for July 10, the test will now be held on August 7. The applicants will be informed about downloading their admit cards as per the new schedule shortly.

Workshop for teachers

The Doon Valley Public School organised a two-day workshop on various approaches on teaching and learning process. Sheela Ragavan, resource person from the QCI, was accompanied by Adiba Faiz and Diksha. Several activities were conducted for the holistic development of students. Discussions were held on new assessment and evaluation process, experiential and integrated learning to make teaching more interesting and to ensure an effective approach. Rajeev Sharma, Managing Director of the school, congratulated the principal and staff members for completing the sessions successfully.

Seminar on life of Mukherjee

On the birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee, a seminar on his life and philosophy was held at the HPU on Wednesday. Chief Guest Dr Radha Raman Shastri, former Education Minister of the state, said Dr Mukherjee gave invaluable contribution in rebuilding the country. He further said Dr Mukherjee’s thoughts are relevant till date. The other speakers on the occasion also threw light on the life and contribution of Dr Mukherjee in nation-building.
