Three arrested with 9 gm ‘chitta’ in Sanjauli
Three drug peddlers have been arrested with 9.3 gm of ‘chitta’ (heroin) in the Sanjauli area in Shimla, the police said here today.
The accused have been identified as Trilok Negi, a resident of Chirgaon in Rohru; Anupam, a resident of Rohru, and Suraj Prakash, a resident of Malyana in Shimla.
According to the police, they received a tip-off that the accused have been selling ‘chitta’ from their rented room in the Cemetery area of Sanjauli.
Taking a prompt action, the police raided the room and recovered the contraband from their possession.
Shimla Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi said further investigation was on.
