A Class VI Tibetan-origin minor girl was allegedly sexually harassed on the premises of a school in McLeodganj.

A Class VI Tibetan-origin minor girl was allegedly sexually harassed on the premises of a school in McLeodganj, police sources said here today. According to the complaint lodged by the warden of the children’s home where the girl resides, the incident had occurred near the football ground of the school on September 23.

The accused has been identified as a Tibetan and a resident of McLeodganj. He has been summoned to the police station on Saturday to join investigation.

The SHO of McLeodganj police station along with a police team reached the school, verified the facts and recorded the statements of those concerned in the incident. The police conducted a preliminary inquiry and subsequently registered an FIR at McLeodganj police station.
