An official spokesperson today said the Chief Minister wanted to start the programme to increase public participation in governance and improve accessibility. The programme would broadcast once every month through social media, radio, and television. “The Chief Minister is keen to maximise the use of digital means and personally take stock of the situation,” he said.

He said suggestions were invited from the people of the state for a catchy name for the digital programme, which could be shared on MyGov Himachal portal. The best entry would get a cash prize of Rs 5,000, which would be handed over by the Chief Minister himself. The last day of submission was August 15, he added. — TNS
